Co-location refers to the location of, or provision of space for a customer’s web servers and other hardware at the site of a Network Operations Centre. Co-location facilities offer customers a secure location to house their hardware and the added advantages of backup power generators, multiple hi-speed internet connections and 24 hour monitoring and surveillance.
